The Literary Lunch Room seeks fiction, poetry and non-fiction related, even loosely, to work. Our goal is to provide lunchtime companionship for those who enjoy literature. We love thought-provoking simplicity and hearing from underserved voices. Fiction can be as short as a sentence and as long as the piece can hold our attention. Poetry needs an edge and a subtlety. Non-fiction includes essays, letters to an entity without an address, reviews of real or imaginary works, obituaries in a form unlikely to appear in a newspaper or for objects not ordinarily memorialized.
